JHAL MAGSI: A Union Council (UC) chairman was killed during a violent clash in Jhal Magsi district, Balochistan, on Saturday, triggering panic in the area and raising concerns over the deteriorating law and order situation.

According to local officials, the incident occurred following a dispute between rival groups that escalated into an armed confrontation. The UC chairman sustained fatal injuries during the clash and died on the spot, while several others were reportedly injured. The injured were shifted to a nearby medical facility, where some were stated to be in critical condition.
