The Peaky Blinders are officially back. Netflix has unveiled the first poster art for the highly anticipated Peaky Blinders movie, continuing the story of the award-winning series set in the gritty streets of 20th-century Birmingham.

The streaming giant first confirmed the film’s production in September, sharing behind-the-scenes photos on X (formerly Twitter) that hinted at the return of Cillian Murphy as the iconic Thomas “Tommy” Shelby. The newly released poster, revealed on Friday, confirms Murphy’s comeback and officially titles the film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.

The Peaky Blinders movie will premiere on Netflix on March 20, following a limited theatrical release. The film marks the long-awaited continuation of the beloved series, which concluded in 2022, nearly four years ago.

Fans can expect the same dark drama, sharp suits, and power struggles that made Peaky Blinders a global phenomenon — now returning with a cinematic twist.

The upcoming Peaky Blinders movie, titled The Immortal Man, will take fans back to 1940, with Cillian Murphy returning as Tommy Shelby. The film follows Tommy’s dramatic return to his hometown after a period of self-imposed exile amid the turmoil of the Second World War.

“The country is at war, and so, of course, are our Peaky Blinders,” said Steven Knight, creator and writer of both the original series and the new film. “It will be an explosive chapter in the Peaky Blinders story — no holds barred. Full-on Peaky Blinders at war.”

Alongside Murphy, several fan-favorite cast members are set to reprise their roles. Sophie Rundle returns as Ada Thorne, Tommy’s sister, while Stephen Graham and Ned Dennehy are back as Hayden Stagg and Charlie Strong, loyal allies of the Shelby family. Packy Lee will once again play Johnny Dogs, and Ian Peck returns as Curly, the trusted stable hand. The film is directed by Tom Harper, a longtime collaborator and veteran of the original series.

Speaking to Netflix, Murphy shared his excitement: “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me. It’s very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is one for the fans.”

According to Deadline, the story doesn’t end there. Two six-part sequel series are already in development to follow The Immortal Man. Set in the 1950s, the new shows will expand the Peaky Blinders universe, with Murphy confirmed to return as an executive producer — though his on-screen role remains uncertain.
